Mark Carlson founded Carlson Audio Systems in 1987. His new company quickly developed a reputation for quality equipment and personalized professional service. In 1990, Jonathan Stoverud-Myers combined his resources with Mark Carlson in a partnership. These two men shared the same ideals and goals for their new audio company.
